Great service!Tortilla soup and refried beans were mediocre. Food is pricey, but portions are massive! Chile Colorado and Chile Relleno were excellent. Pass on the Chile Verde and salsa though.

We were taking my mother and her friend out to a thank you dinner for helping us move and her friend chose this place. None of us had ever been to this location. They were not even close to being busy. We were a group of 7 and they put us in a standard booth! They brought one basket of chips and 2 tiny cups of "salsa" which was pretty much watered down tomato paste.The burritos were covered in greasy melted cheese, had zero flavor and the chicken inside were huge half breast clumps and not shredded at all which was GREAT for our 3 year old (sarcasm). This was the worst food we have ever had let alone paid $100 for!

The staff are always friendly and service is great.

Went to the Mazatlan on South Hill in Puyallup. Very disappointed, there bar area is not relaxing, looks like an extension of the regular restaurant. The bar area should have relaxing lighting, some background music. The food was not that great.

This is surely one of the finest place to eat in the area. Every time I visit this place I am awfully pleased. They maintain their very high standard service and the highest level of meals they offer. You can never go wrong with this restaurant. Very recommended.

Great food and huge portions

Stunningly good Mexican food! The fish tacos and the chicken taco salad are our favorite options with shredded beef enchiladas when we want something a little different. Great chips, great salsa, great staff!

I walked in and it wasn't busy, but waited almost 5 minutes watching countless waiters go by before a young girl appeared at the counter so I can order a take out. Beline took my order and is super sweet, adorable and friendly. She apologized for the wait which was very nice and shows she's aware of it. I wish I could give more stars for her.Now the food. It was tasteless. The red sauce was very VERY EXTREMELY watered down. There was way too much rice for the small amount of beans I got and way too much cheese on top of my two enchilladas. The two enchilladas were very small, so the cooks probably added extra cheese to fill the space.I won't be returning. I don't recommend this place.

We come here a couple times a month. They have excellent service, great food and drinks, and the prices are reasonable. Always have leftovers and always have a wonderful time.

Out of 2 meals, 1 was overcooked. The Flouta dish was overcooked.

The service was very good however, the food and drinks are were exceptionally disappointing.Unquestionably, with as expedient as the plates came following the order, the dishes were pre-made and being held in a warning state. The taste was further evidence to this conclusion. The drinks were poorly mixed and the taste reflected as much.

Excellent food! All of it!! Good service, clean and always consistently yummy! I especially love their rice, chips and the chicken chimichanga...but I don't think you can go wrong with anything.

Really sweet people. Great service. No wait on a Saturday night.Dirty, rundown, terrible food.But again, really sweet. If you're super drunk or high, maybe give it a try?

I ordered Chilli rellenos and got a pound of fried cheese, three bites of peppers a good serving of rice, and a pathetic serving of refried beans. Gross and not what I expected and I don't leave bad reviews until this.

Very good! No skimping on the portions. I loved my Burrito Mandero. Waiter was attentive and food was served quickly. What more could you ask for 🙂

The food was good but a little pricey. The staff were kind of friendly, and server was kind of attentive... they stuck our group in the very back corner of the restaurant when there was plenty of seating open...

Great taco Tuesday specials! Food was really good.

Service was wonderful my mother and I ate in the Cantina. Waitress was on top of her service. Food was great, we shared the nachos and are EXTREMELY STUFFED! Enjoyed the jute box and a few drinks. Will return again in the future!

This restaurant has a fun and lively ambiance. The Mexico theme throughout the venue is fun. Food is wonderful and delicious. Solid beverage selection. Great place for the whole family. It has a constant din, so a couple loud kiddos won't be an issue.

Wow, what a surprise that this was the best food of all of our Mexican restaurants! My Tortilla Soup was amazing and huge! My husband's Steak fajitas were the best freshest looking and tasting. Poncho was a wonderful server and so very nice. Can't wait to have weekly gathers as our kids practice. Bonus, they have a banquet room we will be booking for a party!

Very clean. Greeted and seated right away. Once we decided we were served chips and salsa and our food came out shortly after. It was delicious and fresh. Carne Asada burrito is a must.

Considering the current situation, Mazatlan did a great job taking the extra steps to keep us safe. From the "togo" menu app to individual packets of all requested condiments, they ensured a safe experience that didn't deviate too far from pre Covid times...

Service was great. Food not bad. Prices a bit high

We've visited this Mazatlan several times, and they have consistently demonstrated exceptional service! The restaurant is very clean and delightfully decorated, and features big beautiful skylights allowing for plenty of natural light. Sorry folks, the food looks so delicious that it didn't even occur to me to take a picture before eating it. Dessert made it into the spotlight, yummy flan! Enjoy!

I will be back. I ordered from GrubHub and the delivery time for my food kept getting pushed back (think 2hrs). I decided to cancel my order and drive to the restaurant to pick up my food instead. I arrived at this location only to find out that my order was at another location 😔. (We're still new to the area, so I didn't know there were multiple locations.) BUT, here's where you've earned a repeat customer- this location accommodated my order! A call was placed to the location where my original order was to cancel and they made me what I originally wanted. On top of that the added some chips and salsa and a margarita. The food was on point. Even my toddler who already had dinner was eating off my plate. I will definitely be coming here for food in the future.

Wonderful people and amazing food! Ordered the Mexican pizza and enchiladas a la crema and were so happy with the size and taste. By far our favorite Mexican food in Puyallup!

I always eat in the bar. The service in there is great. Beer is cold, Tequila is tasty, And I really enjoy their fish tacos and tortilla soup.

Excellent food, we really enjoyed our visit. The buffet was a dollar more than the fajita salad I wanted, so I made my own and tried different meats, thank you!

We love going here. Poncho is wonderful! He always remembers us no matter how long its been since we have been there. I always ask for us to sit in his area!

Super fast take out! I love their food!

The service at this location is amazing even though they had a group of 40 in the back they still made time for us. Quick seating, comfortable setting, and amazing staff. We spent a few hours here talking and enjoying drinks (weekend size margaritas) and i never felt pressure to hurry up and leave. Me a my family will be returning here without a doubt.

Great food and service.. Pretty good Mexican food

Went here a few weeks ago and the service was great. The food was bad. This is comming from a mexican that knows mexican food. Way over priced for non authentic mexican. Unless they change the food will not be comming back.
